Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category

Le Saint Alexis **** Hotel & Spa presents itself as a four-star establishment, but many reviews suggest it falls short in several areas. The setting is undeniably stunning, yet the hotel requires major renovations to live up to its four-star claim. Guests note that while the concept and some services are in line with four-star standards, the overall experience, including amenities and staff service, often disappoints.
Certain facilities, such as the bedding and breakfast pastries, do not meet the expectations for a hotel in this tier. Additionally, the hotel appears outdated and significant areas require better maintenance to uphold hygiene standards. There are also mentions of the service being below par with some staff members described as cold and unwelcoming.
Despite the high-end prices typical of a four-star hotel, many visitors feel that the value for money is lacking. Positive feedback highlights the quality of some services and the potential for a four-star-worthy stay, but overall, guests recommend that the hotel undergo a refresh to better reflect its prestigious rating.

Boutik Hôtel 2A has garnered mixed opinions regarding its 4-star rating. While some guests firmly believe it meets the standards of a 4-star establishment, others feel it falls short. Many praise the hotel's rooms, noting that their quality surpasses even some 5-star hotels. Positive feedback also highlights the excellent customer service at reception, which is considered a clear highlight of the hotel experience. However, there are comments about the reception being very cold and concerns that the hotel doesn't fully live up to its 4-star status. Additionally, comparisons with other 4-star hotels in the city suggest that Boutik Hôtel 2A may offer fewer services for its rates. Overall, though the hotel's amenities and service quality have their strong points, opinions are divided on whether it truly aligns with its 4-star billing.

Hotel Le Boucan Canot is a 4-star rated hotel that has received mixed reviews from guests. While some have described it as exceptional and perfect, others have mentioned that it needs to be improved to meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The location of the hotel is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, some guests have pointed out that certain details are missing such as WC and SDB door locks and replacing the bay windows. Despite these minor issues, the atmosphere of the hotel is stylish and has a lot of character.
