Melia Hotel generally provides a satisfying guest experience with several highlights across various aspects of the stay. The breakfast offerings often receive positive remarks for their variety and taste, featuring items like chocolate bread and croissants that are reminiscent of French bakeries. Though some guests noted the breakfast could be improved with more options like eggs and ham, the overall experience is considered enjoyable with the added value of breakfast sometimes being included with the stay.
The rooms at Melia Hotel are praised for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. Guests report that both the rooms and bathrooms are large, providing ample space to unwind. The beds are also commended for their size, contributing to a restful stay.
Cleanliness is a notable strong point with daily routines ensuring that both the rooms and common areas, including the dining room and pool, are well-maintained. Despite some isolated incidents of rooms not being cleaned to standard and occasional lapses in pool cleanliness, the overall feedback is positive, highlighting a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
The staff at Melia Hotel are frequently commended for their exceptional hospitality. Guests describe the team as welcoming, pleasant and dedicated with particular praise for individuals like Jean, Mrs. Ndour and Fatou, who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The staff's kindness and responsiveness create a warm and inviting atmosphere that significantly enhances the guest experience.
However, the hotel's WiFi could use improvement, especially on the upper floors where connectivity issues are common. This has been a point of frustration for guests needing reliable internet access.
The hotel's pool gets mixed reviews; while the pool’s warmth and serene environment are appreciated, concerns about its cleanliness have been noted. Some guests reported issues with dirty water and even experienced itching, indicating maintenance might be an area needing attention.
In summary, Melia Hotel offers a comfortable and pleasant stay with a few areas for improvement. The exceptional staff, cleanliness and comfortable rooms stand out, while enhancements in WiFi connectivity and pool maintenance could further elevate the guest experience.
