Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Havana Resort offers a welcoming and convenient stay for travelers in Tana, receiving high praise for its strategic location. Situated within a short walking distance from the city center, it's perfectly positioned for guests eager to explore landmarks like the Rova Palace and Botanical Garden. Despite its central setting, the resort maintains a tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by panoramic views and the proximity to Lake Anosy. The vibrant surrounding area provides access to numerous restaurants and immerses visitors in local culture.
Guests often highlight the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff as a standout feature of the resort. Their courteous and professional demeanor contributes to a positive experience throughout the stay, from check-in at reception to dining in the restaurant. The rooms are another area of satisfaction, being spacious and well-equipped with comfortable beds and useful amenities, though some minor issues with lighting and noise have been mentioned.
The resort maintains high cleanliness standards, with the majority of visitors appreciating the well-maintained rooms and facilities. Despite isolated reports of cleanliness issues, the overall impression is one of a tidy and orderly environment. Havana Resort's spa services are also well-regarded, particularly for their professional staff and quality massages, offering a relaxing retreat after exploring the city.
Dining at the resort receives mixed reviews. While the rooftop setting is celebrated for its romantic ambiance and delicious food, the main restaurant service can be slow, and the menu limited. The breakfast is generally appreciated for its portion size and variety, yet could improve to fully meet expectations of a four-star rating.
Havana Resort's amenities are well-received, though feedback indicates some areas needing enhancement to align with four-star standards, particularly in dining and pool access. The indoor pool has mixed reviews due to its limited size and additional access fees, and some confusion arises from promotional material. Nevertheless, the resort provides a comfortable and accommodating base for guests seeking both relaxation and exploration in downtown Tana.
