Hotel Casa Portuguesa finds favor with guests mainly for its strategic location, excellent cleanliness and exceptional staff service. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring cultural and natural attractions, including the nearby hubs of Cambados, Sanxenxo, O’grove and Cambarro. Guests appreciate the central yet tranquil setting, ideal for car travelers and the value it offers as a base for exploring the Ría de Arousa region.
Breakfast at the hotel brings mixed impressions; while many enjoy the varied, complete meal with fresh options like orange juice, coffee, croissants and homemade dishes served by attentive staff, others feel it lacks variety and can become repetitive. The absence of a buffet and occasional issues with service speed and breakfast schedule flexibility are noted.
The rooms are frequently praised for their cleanliness and modernity with many guests enjoying spacious, bright accommodations with updated facilities. However, inconsistencies exist—some rooms lack air conditioning or are described as small and outdated with minimal decoration. Noise from other rooms and a lack of certain amenities such as fridges and hairdryers are recurrent concerns.
Cleanliness remains a standout feature with the hotel maintaining an immaculate environment supported by diligent and friendly cleaning staff. Guests routinely mention the spotless condition of both rooms and common areas.
The staff at Hotel Casa Portuguesa earn universal acclaim for their friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness. Visitors feel well-treated and note the staff’s readiness to assist with any needs, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.
Views on bed comfort are mixed. While some guests find the beds new and comfortable, others criticize them for being too hard or small, affecting their sleep quality. Remarks suggest a need for overall improvement in mattress and pillow comfort.
In summary, Hotel Casa Portuguesa stands out for its excellent location, cleanliness and dedicated staff with room and breakfast experiences offering room for some enhancements.
