Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus is a 4-star hotel with some partially renovated rooms. However, the presence of moldy grout in the bathroom and toenails on the floor left by previous guests, reportedly brought to the attention of the staff, contradict the luxury and wellness standard of a 4-star hotel. Despite this, guests enjoyed their short vacation with excellent dining options and a great location. However, some guests mentioned that the bathroom facilities were below the 4-star level and that the dinner did not meet the hotel's standards. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel was described as a great place to stay and is above and beyond the standard of a 4-star hotel.

The Hotel Oversum Winterberg Ski- und Vital Resort is a modern and clean four star hotel, though some guests feel that it doesn't quite live up to the four star plus rating. Some rooms lack the facilities expected of a hotel at this level and the decor in some areas is described as dull. However, these issues are considered acceptable and do not detract from the overall positive experience. The hotel is praised for its amenities and services, but with room rates exceeding 200€ a night, some guests feel that they are not getting what they paid for in terms of value. Overall, the Hotel Oversum Winterberg Ski- und Vital Resort offers a pleasant stay and delivers on most fronts, but improvements could be made to meet the expectations of a four star plus rating.

Boutiquehotel Liebesglück is an ideal destination for a short snow getaway in the heart of Winterberg with surprisingly unique décor contrasting with the traditional Sauerland style. Though the hotel is somewhat dated, it is also clean and provides solid accommodation.
