Dragons Dream Hostel offers a unique blend of comfort and affordability, making it a suitable choice for backpackers or travelers seeking short stays. The private capsule arrangement ensures excellent privacy and there is a range of modern facilities, including a barcode-based door opening system, which adds a touch of sophistication commonly found in three-star hotels. The hostel's pricing is highly appreciated and deemed good value for money, especially for brief visits.
The atmosphere is pleasant with a nice flair, making guests feel at home despite the compact size of the rooms. Many found the facilities very accommodating and highly recommend the hostel for its cost-effectiveness.
However, it's important to note some limitations. The location may not be ideal for those wanting to stay close to the center of Ljubljana and the hostel is better suited for one-night or short-term stays rather than longer durations. Issues with the air conditioning have been reported with some guests finding it either too cold or completely non-functional and there is no control over the AC settings.
Noise can be a significant drawback, as some guests experienced loud noises at night and loud music in the dormitories, which may affect light sleepers. Despite these drawbacks, if the main priority is a budget-friendly, short-term stay with a great atmosphere, Dragons Dream Hostel stands out as a viable option.
