When visiting Temecula Creek Inn, guests have mixed experiences with the hotel pool. Some were disappointed that the pool was not heated or was closed earlier than desired. Others were surprised that the pool and Jacuzzi were not operational at all. On the positive side, some visitors were happy with the pool's location, size and amenities, such as a dedicated children's area. However, some negative reviews reported that the pool was dirty and in need of maintenance or replastering. Due to COVID-19, there were reports that the pool and spa were temporarily closed. Some visitors were unhappy with being charged the standard room rate despite not being able to use the gym or the pool. Regardless of these mixed experiences, the hotel has provided guests with specific hours when the pools are accessible from 7am-7pm.

The pool at Hotel Xola is often highlighted in guest reviews, suggesting it as a noteworthy feature when it is well-maintained. While there have been mentions of it being sparkling clean and looking refreshing on occasion, there have been consistent reports of the pool being out of service or closed. Many guests have noted issues with cleanliness, with some mentioning algae and a lack of availability for extended periods, including during the peak summer season. This has led to guests experiencing limited access to these amenities during their stays. It's advisable for potential visitors to check the current operating status of the pool and gym before booking, especially if these facilities are a priority for their visit.
