From the receptionists to the restaurant personnel and cleaning staff, the entire team contributes significantly to delivering a memorable and positive experience for visitors. Their efficient and polite service is frequently highlighted in guest reviews.
Rooms at Hotel Dolmen are praised for their spaciousness, comfort and cleanliness, providing a relaxing environment with well-maintained facilities. Despite some minor issues like outdated fixtures and noisy air conditioning, the overall consensus points to a comfortable stay.
Cleanliness across the hotel is generally impeccable with daily maintenance ensuring that rooms and common areas are spotless. However, the outdoor pool area requires more attention with some guests noting deterioration and mold issues. The pool itself receives mixed reviews; while appreciated for its temperature control and city views, the need for improved cleanliness and maintenance is evident.
Guests appreciate the convenience of parking facilities, though some have encountered unexpected charges and tight parking spaces. Valet service and covered parking are notable positives, but clear communication about fees and space suitability is needed.
The beds at Hotel Dolmen are often described as very comfortable, contributing to restful stays. Although there are occasional mentions of overly soft mattresses or hard pillows, the general feedback on bed comfort is favorable.
The WiFi service, however, is inconsistent—performing well in some areas but poorly in others, especially on higher floors. This is an area that requires significant improvement to meet guest expectations.
The gym facilities receive considerable criticism for outdated and poorly maintained equipment, indicating a need for a substantial overhaul.
The hotel's four-star rating is contested by some guests who feel it does not meet European standards with calls for improvements in breakfast quality and overall amenities to meet the expected level of a four-star property.
Despite the areas needing enhancement, Hotel Dolmen is a practical and enjoyable choice for many visitors, particularly business travelers, thanks to its excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable accommodations.
