Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield shines through with an array of positive reviews in several key areas, making it a preferred choice for many travelers. Situated in a serene and calm environment with easy access to Northbrook, Riverwoods and Deerfield offices, the location is well-regarded. Its proximity to O'Hare airport and the botanical gardens make it convenient for both business and leisure guests. Though not downtown or near abundant food and shopping options, essential amenities are just a short drive away.
Breakfast at the hotel is a standout feature, consistently receiving high praise. The impressive variety, including custom-made omelets, freshly prepared eggs and other options, often exceeds guests' expectations. The live omelet station is frequently highlighted and the breakfast buffet is described as diverse and plentiful. The friendly and attentive staff further enhance the dining experience, making breakfast a significant highlight of the stay.
The rooms are another strong point, noted for their spaciousness and cleanliness. The two-room suite format is particularly appreciated by families, offering a comfortable separation between living and sleeping areas. While some reviews note the rooms could benefit from updating, guests generally find them very attractive with many enjoying the fresh smell and overall comfort. Cleanliness extends throughout the hotel, from the suites to the common areas, earning high marks from visitors.
Staff at the hotel consistently receive accolades for their exceptional service and friendliness. Specific team members like Rick, Brett, Irma and John are often mentioned for their helpful and welcoming demeanor. Across all departments, from the front desk to housekeeping, the staff's professionalism and attentiveness contribute to a pleasant guest experience.
The pool area also receives positive feedback with guests appreciating its size, cleanliness and well-maintained facilities like the hot tub and jacuzzi. While the water's chlorine content and occasional crowding due to children's swimming lessons are minor drawbacks, the pool remains an enjoyable feature for most guests.
Family travelers find the hotel particularly accommodating with its spacious suites and budget-friendly amenities. Although occasional noise from unattended children and a less central location are noted, families generally enjoy a restful and comfortable stay.
Beds at the hotel are described as comfortable by many guests. While a few reviews suggest they could use an upgrade, the majority of feedback points to a good night's sleep with several guests specifically mentioning the soft and comfy beds.
In summary, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield stands out for its convenient and peaceful location, exceptional breakfast, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff and enjoyable pool area, making it a solid choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
