Best Western Lexington Inn enjoys a prime location just off Route 81, providing easy access to local attractions and a variety of dining options. The hotel's proximity to downtown and institutions like the Virginia Military Institute is a notable advantage, contributing to its popularity among travelers. Guests appreciate the convenient setting, accommodating staff, and fair pricing, often considering a return visit.
Breakfast at the hotel generally receives positive feedback, with a variety of options that add value to the stay. The pancake maker and the pet-friendly policy are particularly appreciated. Though some guests mention the need for more variety and improved quality in a few offerings, the staff’s pleasant demeanor adds to a positive breakfast experience.
While the rooms vary in quality, those recently renovated garner praise for cleanliness and comfort. Amenities like mini fridges and microwaves enhance the stay. However, some rooms require attention, with complaints about musty smells, maintenance issues, and outdated facilities. The need for ongoing renovations is apparent to improve guest satisfaction.
Cleanliness and upkeep are areas needing significant improvement, with reports of mold, stains, and insufficient daily cleaning common. Despite these challenges, the hotel's staff stands out for their exceptional hospitality, consistently described as friendly, helpful, and dedicated to ensuring guest comfort.
The beds receive mixed reviews, with some guests finding them comfortable, while others mention issues with firmness and outdated elements. Overall, the dedication of the staff and the convenient location enrich the guest experience at Best Western Lexington Inn, though improvements in cleanliness and facility updates are necessary to meet expectations fully.
