Sahara Hotel Apartments, located in the heart of Rustaq in Muscat, offers an ideal base for travelers keen to explore the city, due to its prime location surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, and essential amenities. Guests appreciate the hotel's proximity to local attractions, mosques, and markets, as well as its convenient and tranquil environment that is simultaneously lively and clean. This strategic setting, combined with spacious accommodations, offers good value for both leisure and business travelers.
Feedback on cleanliness at the Sahara Hotel Apartments reveals a mixed bag. While some guests note satisfactory conditions with clean facilities and an inviting reception, many others express concerns over room conditions, particularly regarding dusty and unclean spaces, rundown furniture, and privacy issues, such as the absence of room locks. Guests also mention a lack of basic amenities and inconsistent cleaning services, suggesting a significant need for enhanced maintenance.
The hotel staff receive varied reviews, with some visitors praising the reception, particularly the morning staff and individuals like Fatima, for providing good service. While certain team members were commended for being well-prepared and respectful, other guests felt that the staff could benefit from additional training in customer service and communication, as language barriers sometimes led to misunderstandings. Despite these challenges, there is potential for improved guest experiences through more consistent service across the team.
Overall, Sahara Hotel Apartments is well-received for its excellent location but could greatly benefit from improved cleanliness and more consistent staff service to enhance guest satisfaction.
