Hotel Due Mari holds a four-star rating, yet there are mixed opinions regarding whether it lives up to this classification. Some guests feel that the property is outdated, suggesting that it has retained the standards from the 1970s and requires a thorough review, particularly concerning the rooms. Specific issues such as cramped and noisy rooms, poor air conditioning and an odd menu were noted, leading guests to believe that the price-performance ratio is not justified, especially when considering additional costs like parking fees.
Conversely, there have been some positive remarks aligning with four-star expectations. Breakfast was deemed satisfactory when compared to other four-star establishments and there were no major complaints in some aspects of the stay. However, incidents like finding the external door locked after midnight and waiting in vain for over twenty minutes left some guests questioning the service quality. Overall, while some elements meet the expected standards of a four-star hotel, there are areas in need of significant improvement to truly fit the classification and justify the costs.
