Visitors to Sheraton Suites Wilmington Downtown have noted that parking can present some challenges. The parking garage is described as tight and tricky, especially when the hotel is fully booked, and some guests find it difficult to navigate with larger vehicles or SUVs due to small spaces and low clearances. Additionally, the fee for parking is seen as unexpectedly high, and some guests remarked that they had expected parking to be included in their stay. It's also been mentioned that the elevator from the garage to the hotel floors has posed issues, adding to the parking difficulties. Overall, parking logistics at the hotel are an aspect that guests have found less than ideal during their visit.

Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Wilmington - Newark is a popular choice for travelers, thanks to its convenient and serene location. Nestled in a peaceful, woodsy area, the hotel is close to major roadways, the Christiana Mall, Delaware Park and Casino, and various shopping and dining options. This strategic placement provides easy access for both leisure and business travelers, making it a preferred choice for those wanting to explore local attractions or simply enjoy a quiet stay.
Guests consistently appreciate the comfortable and clean rooms, well-kept by the diligent housekeeping staff. The tidy vinyl floors and modern updates provide a welcoming and cozy environment. While the hotel does not typically offer amenities like refrigerators and microwaves, the clean, sound-proof rooms with hot showers and functioning toilets ensure a pleasant in-room experience.
The staff at Red Roof Inn PLUS+ receive high praise for their friendly and accommodating demeanor. Standout team members like Cheryl and Jessica enhance the guest experience with their helpfulness and efficiency, while the front desk associates are noted for their professionalism and ability to facilitate early check-ins. This warm and hospitable atmosphere makes guests feel valued and cared for.
Comfortable beds are another highlight for many visitors, contributing to restful sleep complemented by efficient air conditioning units. While some mention inconsistencies in bed quality, the majority find the beds to be surprisingly comfortable, enhancing their overall stay.
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ is also an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers, offering an affordable stay without compromising comfort. Despite the lack of luxury amenities found in higher-end hotels, the property provides a quiet, comfortable environment and excellent service for an economical price. Additionally, the hotel is exceptionally pet-friendly, offering facilities and amenities that appeal to pet owners, such as doggie stations and a pleasant strolling area for pets.
Overall, the combination of a great location, clean rooms, accommodating staff, and pet-friendly policies makes Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Wilmington - Newark a highly recommended option for a practical and comfortable stay.
