Nestled on a secluded Croatian island, O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort provides an exceptional glamping escape lauded for its natural beauty and tranquility. The island's pristine environment, characterized by stunning sea views, crystal-clear waters and lush greenery, frequently receives high praise. Direct sea views from tents and serene surroundings make it an ideal spot for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. The beautiful beaches, cleanliness of the water and overall relaxed vibe further enhance the getaway experience.
Breakfast at O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort is generally well-received for its variety, quality and abundance of options. Guests enjoy the buffet-style setup, which includes non-dairy and vegetarian choices, fresh fruit and other tasty offerings. Despite some logistical hiccups like small facilities and occasional long queues, the breakfast experience remains a memorable start to the day for most visitors.
When it comes to dinner, opinions vary more. Positive mentions go to the beachside restaurant and pizzeria, which serve delicious pizzas and burgers at reasonable prices. However, high prices, limited dining options and long waiting times are recurring points of contention. Some found the food quality inconsistent and the dining facilities sometimes ill-equipped to handle the number of guests, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
The glamping accommodations at O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort stand out for their modernity, spaciousness and comfort. Guests appreciate amenities such as air conditioning, clean beds and essential toiletries. Many tents offer breathtaking sea views, providing a cozy and romantic atmosphere that is perfect for couples or small families. However, there are areas needing improvement, such as cleanliness standards and maintenance of amenities.
The cleanliness of the overall island and tents is generally commendable with the sea often praised for its pristine condition. However, communal areas and some sanitation facilities need better upkeep. Despite some sporadic housekeeping services and issues with maintenance, the natural beauty of the island still offers a charming appeal.
Staff hospitality at O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort is largely seen as friendly and helpful, especially at the reception desk. However, inconsistencies in behavior and service quality have been reported. While many staff members are noted for their professionalism and kindness, certain instances of unprofessionalism, particularly in the main restaurant, have been flagged.
Wi-Fi service provides a mixed experience. Though some guests find it reliable, others face connectivity challenges, especially during peak evening hours. The inconsistency of the Wi-Fi service means it is best to manage expectations regarding internet access.
The spa services receive positive feedback for their quality and ambiance, particularly the beachside massages. The calm island atmosphere, complemented by spa offerings and accessible shops, adds to the relaxation factor, though more amenities like deck chairs and health food stores could enhance the experience further.
The sea water pool is praised for being a unique and enjoyable aspect of the visit, but its maintenance and cleanliness need significant improvement. Some guests appreciate the concept and the proximity to the beach, but others find the pool outdated and poorly maintained, affecting the overall enjoyment.
Beds in the tents are generally comfortable and clean, providing a restful sleep with hotel-quality linens, though issues with beds around the pool and on the beach have been noted. The availability of sun loungers is often insufficient, requiring guests to reserve spots early.
O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort markets itself as a four-star luxury camping resort, but guest feedback suggests that the reality doesn't quite meet these expectations. Many feel the facilities and services offered align more with a basic camping spot rather than a luxury retreat. Maintenance and service levels, such as infrequent cleaning and high pricing for food and drinks, are areas that detract from the purported four-star experience.
Overall, O-Tents by Obonjan Island Resort excels in offering a picturesque and serene glamping experience, especially for those seeking a blend of nature and comfort. While there are areas in need of improvement, particularly in cleanliness, maintenance and service quality, its unique setting and modern accommodations offer a memorable retreat for many guests.
