It is situated in a great location that is within one hour’s reach of London and it offers stunning scenic views. While families may not find it the best fit due to restrictions and the split of adult and child-only areas, it is an excellent location for those looking to get away for a peaceful retreat. The customer service is top-notch and guests can unwind in a lovely lounge bar overlooking the grounds. Although the bedrooms aren't in the main house, guests can still enjoy the hotel's amazing location alongside the convenience of having access to the hotel by car from Woking. Foxhills also features tennis courts with junior suits nearby and spa facilities that are excellent. The hotel is set in stunning grounds that will make you feel like you are abroad. Additionally, you will find that the location is perfect for what you would like to do, but a car is essential. Short drives away through the lanes lead to beautiful locations such as Windsor. All in all, Foxhills is a fabulous getaway suitable for anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful setting and impeccable location.

Breakfast
The breakfast experience at Foxhills is a mixed bag according to guest reviews. Some found the selection at the buffet to be poor and limited with the meal feeling almost finished even an hour before it was supposed to end. Others, however, found the breakfast to be excellent with a wide variety to choose from and good food overall. Some guests were disappointed to find that certain items like a range of coffees or fried/poached eggs were not included in the breakfast cost. Additionally, some encountered issues with staff not understanding their full requirements or arguing loudly in front of guests. Despite these varied experiences, the afternoon tea is also noted as being lovely with a great variety of tea choices.

Dinner
Guests have had mixed experiences with the dinner options at Foxhills. While some have enjoyed the food and dining experience in the main restaurant and bar XIX, others have found the limited options and long waits to be frustrating. Flo's restaurant is busy but could use better staffing and a better coffee offering. The Nineteen restaurant, which is more like a clubhouse, has been disappointing for some guests who have had to wait over an hour for their meal without explanation or apology. Some guests have found the food to be expensive while others have rated it as truly disgusting. Additionally, some guests have noted a lack of staff and poor service during mealtimes. Overall, guests' experiences with dinner at Foxhills have been mixed and it is recommended to do some research beforehand and set expectations accordingly.

Rooms
Foxhills has a mixed bag of reviews when it comes to the rooms. Many guests seemed to love the huge, spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the golf course. They found them well-maintained, very comfortable and clean. Some even raved about the luxurious and amazing spa room. However, other guests found the rooms to be dated and in need of updating with broken or missing fixtures and outdated decor. Some rooms lacked air conditioning or were too warm during the summer months. Additionally, some guests experienced noise issues and problems with cleanliness or housekeeping. Despite these issues, Foxhills also received positive reviews for its spacious suites, great facilities for children, nice views and lovely balconies.

Beds
Foxhills hotel offers a range of beds with varying levels of comfort, from very comfortable to uncomfortable. Guests have praised the comfortable and very comfortable beds with some even describing them as fabulous. However, some guests have found the beds too soft or uncomfortable, resulting in a terrible night's sleep. One guest recommended adding a light sheet on top of the bed for summer weather. The hotel rooms are spacious and offer outstanding comfort, but better ventilation is needed in some rooms. Occasionally, guests have found the pillows too hard, resulting in a dreadful night's sleep. Overall, the beds at Foxhills are comfortable and spacious, making for a peaceful night's sleep.

Cleanliness
Foxhills, a hotel known for its spa facilities and quality decor, has received mixed reviews regarding its cleanliness. While some guests found the hotel and their rooms to be very clean, others noticed stains and dirt on various surfaces such as carpets, chairs, handles and even spa amenities like the hammam suite. The hotel staff were described as polite and the public areas were impeccably maintained, but some guests emphasized the need for better hygiene and exterior cleaning. Despite some mishaps such as empty toiletries or insufficient cleaning, many guests enjoyed their stay in Foxhills' spacious and tidy rooms.

Staff
The staff at Foxhills are a key highlight of the hotel with many guests praising their friendliness and helpfulness. The staff at reception, foyer, dining room and spa were described as incredible and always willing to go out of their way to please guests. However, there were some inconsistent experiences where some staff members were superb while others lacked leadership and customer service skills. Some guests had issues with poorly trained or unhelpful staff and some found the housekeeping team to be appalling. Still, the majority of guests had positive experiences with staff who were attentive, accommodating and professional. Despite some training issues, guests found the staff to be a standout feature of their stay at Foxhills with many looking forward to visiting again.

Spa
The spa facilities at Foxhills are definitely a highlight of this hotel with many reviewers labeling it the best they've ever been to. The spa and wellness team are highly praised for their exceptional service and willingness to go above and beyond for guests. The facilities themselves are clean and offer a range of services, from therapeutic massages to Pilates classes. Many guests appreciated not having to leave the site for activities and enjoyed the resort vibe of the hotel. However, some reviews criticized the outdated decor of the rooms and the lack of a male changing room at the spa. Despite these small issues, the majority of guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay and highly recommend the spa facilities.

Pool
Foxhills is a resort that boasts of a range of delightful facilities, especially for families with children. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor heated pools, a kids pool and areas for adults as well as family pools. The outdoor pool is well loved in particular, offering beautiful surroundings and space for guests to enjoy. The resort's Pavillion and courtyard pool are perfect for those who prefer a quieter swim. However, some guests mentioned that the outdoor pool needs to be heated up a bit more. The pool areas are clean, but some guests noted that they were crowded at times with both residents and non-residents using the facilities. Some families even complained about the noise levels from children, especially during early morning hours. Moreover, some guests mentioned that the pool area needed better cleaning, as there were instances of dirty plasters lying around. Overall, the pool facilities at Foxhills are good and families, in particular, are sure to have a great time using them.

Family
Foxhills is an excellent hotel for families with children looking for a fun-filled holiday. The hotel offers a range of activities and facilities for kids, including an indoor soft play area, games rooms, heated indoor and outdoor pools and an adventure playground. However, some guests noted that the restrictions and split of adult and child-only areas made it not the best choice for families.

The rooms are spacious and offer good value for money and the breakfast was great. Children have a great time at Foxhills with a dedicated kids pool and soft play area. The hotel also offers a good kids club and creche with plenty of events planned for the little ones.

The outdoor pool is a hit with children and the playground and soft play area were also popular. However, some guests experienced long waits for food at the on-site restaurants, which frustrated restless children.

Overall, Foxhills is a great place for families and friends to stay with its excellent service and facilities. While some guests noted that family rooms and bathrooms could use a little updating, the hotel offers a wide range of activities for all ages. The hotel could improve on their food options for kids, but the hotel amenities and pool areas were a hit with families.

Golf
If you're a golfer, Foxhills is the perfect hotel for you. The beautiful hotel and golf resort is located in a lovely setting with good golf courses. The Manor golf course provides an amazing view and is embedded into a forest. The golf facilities are excellent and the clay courts were a joy to play on. However, some guests found the cost of the golf courses and carts to be excessive. Nonetheless, for a fun group of golfers, Foxhills offers a great property with lovely facilities. Even non-golfers can enjoy a comfortable stay, as the hotel provides great facilities for a spa break and tennis. Don't forget to stop by the golf restaurant, where the staff is good. Overall, a stay at Foxhills never disappoints - many guests would come again just for the facilities and golf courses. And, as one review notes, even their son and friends loved the golf!

Accessible
Foxhills has both positives and negatives for guests with disabilities. Some staff members were not knowledgeable about accessible facilities, but the evening receptionist was very helpful in assisting with the ramp and finding the disabled bathroom. The rooms were spacious and suitable for wheelchair users, but the cobbled paths and poorly lit areas outside presented challenges. The accessible rooms were also located too far from the reception and food areas. Additionally, the main building disabled toilet was in poor condition and not well-signposted. Some rooms had bathrooms on different floors, which could be inconvenient. Overall, Foxhills is an option for registered disabled guests, but improvements in accessibility are needed.

Outdoor Pool
Those seeking a relaxing getaway that includes enjoying the great outdoors will definitely want to consider Foxhills as an option for their next trip. One of the most talked-about features of this hotel is the lovely outdoor heated pool - perfect for guests of all ages! Kids, in particular, seem to love it. However, some reviewers noted that the pool can get crowded at times, especially during peak season. Despite this, the pool area is always kept very clean, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.

If you're looking for a room with a view, be sure to request one that overlooks the residents pool. This particular pool is a hit among families, as it offers plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation. However, some guests did mention that they had to ask multiple times for towels, so it's a good idea to bring your own just in case. Additionally, reviewers noted that it would have been nice to have food and drink service available at the pool during the summer months.

Overall, Foxhills is a beautiful hotel that's perfect for families looking to enjoy some time in the great outdoors. In addition to the outdoor pool, guests can also enjoy the soft play area for kids and the closed Manor golf course. Whatever your interests may be, this hotel has something for everyone!
