Dream Downtown, by Hyatt boasts a rooftop heated pool with views of the city, perfect for a dip in the morning sun. However, it is important to note that the pool is primarily intended for non-hotel guests and can be accessed exclusively by children from 8-10am. Reserving a lounge chair can be quite costly and the pool closes at 6pm, so plan accordingly. Unfortunately, the pool bar, lounge and nightclub were closed during our stay, but PHD upstairs provided great entertainment. Complaints have been made about false advertising and poor quality, overpriced food. Parents with children should be aware that the pool area may not be accessible at certain times and is not suitable for teenagers. The staff can come off as rude to guests who do not have a reserved lounge chair. Although some reviews mention a dirty pool, many guests have enjoyed a refreshing swim surrounded by beautiful people. If you are set on taking a dip, plan ahead and manage your expectations.

Take a dip in the pool admiring the Empire State building twenty stories above the city. The heated rooftop pool is exclusive for guests during business hours and open year round for easy access. The Mosaic 1940’s pin up temptress intrigues and invites you to swim.

The Royalton Park Avenue offers a rooftop pool with stunning views of the Empire State Building. While some guests have noted that the pool area can get busy with non-guests, the overall consensus is positive. The pool is heated and well-maintained with many guests finding it a relaxing and enjoyable place to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. Some guests have also praised the bar and lounge area surrounding the pool, while others have noted that the pool is a bit small and outdoor. However, the majority of guests seem to enjoy the pool area and appreciate it as an added bonus to their stay. There are some comments regarding the pool sometimes being crowded and guests reporting difficulty securing a sunbed. Despite some negative comments about the pool’s cleanliness or reception staff, guests seem highly satisfied overall and the rooftop pool is a notable highlight of the hotel.
