Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Ramada by Wyndham Rochelle Park Near Paramus benefits greatly from its excellent location, which is convenient for both leisure and business travelers. Situated near major highways and shopping centers such as Garden State Plaza and Westfield Plaza and close to a range of dining options, banks and essential services, the hotel provides easy access to a variety of amenities. The combination of accessibility and a quiet, safe environment enhances its appeal to many guests.
The breakfast experience, however, has received mixed feedback. Some guests appreciated the free breakfast, describing it as good or great, but many reviews pointed out the limited choices and occasional lack of availability. The offering, often consisting of minimal items like water, cereal bars and juice boxes, did not meet the expectations of several guests, especially due to the absence of a dedicated breakfast room and advance notifications about changes to the service.
Guest reviews about the rooms vary widely. Positively, many visitors mention that the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with good-sized beds. Nonetheless, numerous complaints highlight the property's need for significant renovation and better maintenance. Problems such as unpleasant smells, outdated decor, worn and stained carpets, malfunctioning TVs and noisy air conditioners detract from the overall experience. There were even isolated reports of pests and unfriendly cleaning staff.
Cleanliness at the hotel has garnered mixed reviews as well. While some guests appreciated the clean rooms and polite cleaning staff, many noted that the hotel appears old and in need of updates. Issues such as dusty rooms, stained bathtubs, moldy wallpaper and roach presence were mentioned, along with general dissatisfaction about the old and sticky carpets and unpleasant odors.
The staff generally receives positive reviews for their friendliness and helpfulness. Many guests praised their professionalism, competence and welcoming attitudes, particularly during check-in and checkout. The ability of staff members to communicate in both Spanish and English enhances the guest experience. However, there were occasional mentions of less helpful interactions, particularly with the front desk and room service, though these were less common.
Evaluations of the beds are also varied. While many guests found them comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep, others experienced discomfort due to mattresses being too firm or the springs being in poor condition.
Overall, Ramada by Wyndham Rochelle Park Near Paramus offers a convenient and accessible location with friendly staff and comfortable, though somewhat inconsistent, accommodations. Improvements in room maintenance, breakfast variety and overall cleanliness would significantly enhance the guest experience.
