Guests have varied experiences with the pool at Lagrange Apart'Hotel L’Escale Marine. Many appreciate its presence, noting that it's well-maintained with proper upkeep and accessible for visitors. The pool is often praised for being heated and having a removable roof, enhancing its functionality throughout different weather conditions. Access to the pool is found convenient and it serves as a relaxing spot after a day of exploring.
However, the size of the pool is frequently mentioned as a drawback with several reviews mentioning that it appears much larger in photos and is often overcrowded. The coldness of the water is a common complaint with many guests finding it too chilly, despite the advertised heating. Maintenance issues, such as a broken ladder and occasional dirtiness, have also been pointed out. Despite these criticisms, the pool remains a significant asset for the hotel, providing a pleasant, if sometimes imperfect, facility for guests looking to unwind.

Guests at Novotel La Rochelle Centre generally praise the hotel's pool as a delightful addition to their stay, providing a refreshing escape especially during warmer days. The pool is noted for being clean, well-maintained, and heated, which adds to its appeal. Families and children particularly enjoy it, appreciating the opportunity for a relaxing swim. While the pool is regarded as nice and lovely, its relatively small size and the limited space for loungers are points of consideration for some visitors, affecting its initial impression compared to promotional photos.
The pool area, enhanced by surrounding glass for safety, contributes positively to the hotel’s ambiance. Despite its depth potentially posing a challenge to younger children, it proves enjoyable for adults and older kids alike. Its presence as an outdoor feature allows guests to unwind and cool down in the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel’s terrace, which surrounds a playground ideal for littler ones.
Overall, the pool is deemed an excellent feature of Novotel La Rochelle Centre, providing great value and enjoyment alongside the convenience of the hotel's good location and amenities, such as secure parking, pleasant staff, and reasonably priced dining options.
