Hotel Residence Campi presents a mixed experience for travelers, with many guests finding it falls short of the advertised four-star standard. While the structure is noted for its superb quality-to-price ratio, certain aspects leave visitors wanting more. The pool receives praise, providing a plus to the overall experience, yet other facilities, such as the in-room kitchen, do not fully meet expectations, described as lacking in necessary amenities and slow stovetops.
Staff interactions might benefit from improvement, as some guests noted a sense of weariness among the team. Moreover, additional charges like those for towels feel incongruous with a four-star rating. Guests commonly express that the accommodations need enhancements; spider webs and the absence of certain promised views impact the experience.
The rate, particularly for families, seems high given the perceived level of service and facilities, leading to some disappointment. Overall, while the hotel has potential, it requires several improvements to align with a true four-star experience according to guest expectations.

Rooms were often described as basic and a bit outdated, lacking the decorative and comfort elements one might expect from a hotel of this caliber.
The breakfast experience also drew mixed reviews, with mentions of poor variety and quality that didn't quite align with four-star standards. Guests voiced a desire for a more comprehensive breakfast buffet to match the hotel's proposed rating and price point.

Hotel Excelsior Bay offers a unique experience, despite some areas in need of refinement. Guests appreciate the modernly equipped bathrooms, which add a contemporary touch to their stay. However, the breakfast selection appears to be a recurring point of concern. It seems that the buffet's variety and quality do not quite align with the expectations of a four-star rating, especially for those familiar with more diverse breakfast spreads. While the hotel's structure and room furnishings might feel somewhat outdated compared to the cost, there is potential for enhanced comfort and satisfaction with a few updates. Overall, while some improvements are required, the hotel provides a pleasant experience with the potential for a more upscale offering.
