voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa by IHG is a lovely spot to use as a base for exploring the area, but some guests were disappointed with the quality and facilities of the hotel. Although advertised as a four star hotel, some guests felt that the hotel did not meet the expected standards with some rating their stay as low as a 3 out of 10. Some guests mentioned that the hotel needed further investment to improve the amenities to meet the four star standard. A few guests also noted issues with cleanliness and the functionality of some of the facilities. However, some guests did enjoy their stay and appreciated the charm of the hotel with some mentioning the powerful showers. Others noted the lack of bathrobes and slippers and a shortage of dessert spoons, which they felt was unexpected for a four star hotel.
