The DeSoto offers a rooftop pool experience that garners mainly positive feedback from its guests. The pool area is frequently described as beautiful, nice and lovely, making it a pleasant space for relaxation and leisure. Many noted the cleanliness and good temperature of the pool and it doubles as a charming spot to enjoy a drink. The rooftop setting provides a delightful view of downtown Savannah, especially enchanting at night.
However, there are recurring mentions of the pool being small and sometimes crowded, which could be a drawback for some guests. Additionally, a few highlighted issues such as no available towels and dated pool furniture. The pool bar was noted as often being closed, likely due to staffing shortages, which detracted from the overall experience. Despite these few downsides, the pool area remains a favored feature for many visitors, appreciated for its serene atmosphere and convenience.
