If you're looking for a great breakfast option during your stay in Port-au-Prince, you won't be disappointed with the Marriott Port-au-Prince Hotel. Guests have raved about the elaborate dishes on the buffet, including delicious omelets, sandwiches and salads. The American and Caribbean options are both tasty with many guests stating they couldn't ask for more between the hours of 6:30 and 11:00am. Not only is the food great, but the servers are excellent and the overall atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. While some guests found the menu lacking in variety, the majority left very satisfied and couldn't wait to return.
Marriott Port-au-Prince Hotel has an incredibly welcoming and friendly staff who swiftly respond to guests' needs. The hotel boasts great facilities, including excellent WiFi and shower pressure and even provides a driver for an additional charge who guests found to be a godsend. Josue and Pouloute did a great job at the bar, while Abigail offered some tea to a guest who wasn't feeling well. The front desk staff, including Marvens and Alexander, are also worth mentioning as they impressed a guest with their great service, even singing them happy birthday. Although some of the ladies on staff need more training on customer service, overall, the customer service of the staff was excellent. All the staff are very nice and guests rave about the staff services. However, some guests did encounter a few issues with bad attitudes among some staff members and a delayed response time when calling for service. Nonetheless, guests appreciate the daily room cleaning and all-around services, making Marriott Port-au-Prince Hotel a fantastic choice for your stay.
