Breakfast

Dossier offers a light breakfast in the morning with pre-packaged pastries, but some guests feel that it falls short of their expectations. However, the hotel provides excellent coffee and local brews in the afternoon and guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries each morning. Some reviewers wished for a more substantial breakfast, but overall, the offerings were appreciated as a nice touch. Those expecting a more substantial breakfast were disappointed with the options and the resort fee paid for the breakfast was deemed too high. Despite mixed reviews, the free coffee and muffins were a definite highlight of the morning.

Dinner

According to guest reviews, the hotel's restaurant and bar were unfortunately closed during their stay, which was a bit disappointing. However, the hotel did offer craft beer from 5-7pm and guests enjoyed great cocktails in the restaurant when it was open. Despite this setback, guests found plenty of great dining options nearby and wished there had been room service available. Overall, while guests would have appreciated a restaurant on-site, they still enjoyed their stay and the amenities provided by the hotel.

Rooms

The Dossier hotel has received numerous positive reviews about their comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Guests have raved about the large and comfortable beds and the bathrooms have gotten particular acclaim with separate bathtubs and showers, spacious layouts and tasteful decor. The hotel's location in Downtown Portland is also highly praised, as is its modern and well-kept amenities. While some reviews noted that the rooms may be a bit small or lacking in maid service without request, the overall consensus is that the hotel provides clean and comfortable accommodations with attractive aesthetics.

Beds

When it comes to a good night's sleep, Dossier does not disappoint. The hotel boasts comfortable beds that guests rave about with some even calling them the most comfortable beds they've ever slept on! The plushness of the mattresses, the softness of the pillows and the cozy duvets all contribute to a comfortable stay. While some guests commented on the size of the beds being on the smaller side, there is even an option for a Japanese-style room with no bed or a fusion/hybrid option. Despite some minor issues with softness or scratchy sheets, the general consensus is that the beds are great. Some even describe the beds as heavenly, ensuring that guests enjoy sound sleep.
