Summarized by AI
Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub in Quezon City garners positive reviews for its strategic location, breakfast offerings, room quality, cleanliness, staff, and beds. Business travelers and visitors associated with the University of the Philippines favor its location for its balance of serenity and accessibility to amenities and key city sites, including the UP campus, dining, shopping options like TechnoHub Plaza, Trinoma, and BPO offices. Despite its distance from the airport, the hotel's setting offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to cultural and social destinations.
Guests enjoy the sumptuous buffet breakfast, which is notable for its variety, including both Asian and Filipino options, and quality service from the attentive staff. The daily change in the menu keeps it refreshing for extended stays. Some suggest expanding the choices, but the overall breakfast experience remains a highlight.
Spacious rooms with large beds cater well to those seeking comfort and cleanliness, with the housekeeping team receiving commendations for their diligent service. Despite being an older establishment, the facilities are functional and the environment tidy. Some feedback mentions minor maintenance issues, such as broken locks and potential bed bugs, but the positive aspects generally outweigh these concerns.
The exceptional service from the friendly and accommodating staff stands out, contributing significantly to the overall guest experience. While there are minor suggestions for service improvement, the staff's dedication enhances the hotel's appeal.
WiFi service experiences are mixed; while many find it satisfactory, others report connectivity issues, especially within rooms. However, staff responsiveness often resolves these concerns.
Overall, the Microtel's emphasis on comfort and quality service, combined with its advantageous location, makes it an appealing choice for both leisure and business travelers visiting the UP area.
