Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Concorde Les Berges du Lac is highly praised for its prime location by the picturesque Lake Tunis, offering superb views and easy accessibility to the airport and city center. This central position enhances convenience for travelers, making it a favored choice for varied guests. The welcoming atmosphere and extremely friendly and accommodating staff create a close connection with guests, contributing to an enjoyable and pleasant environment. Guests frequently commend the hotel's clean facilities and delightful breakfast, which is made even more enjoyable with views of the lake, setting a positive tone for the day.
The breakfast experience at the hotel receives mixed yet largely positive feedback. Guests appreciate the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet, which includes fresh juice, pancakes and diverse savory and sweet options. The service and dining space decoration, including a covered terrace by the lake, are noted highlights. However, some guests feel that the breakfast offerings could be expanded and improved in presentation to align with the hotel's five-star standards.
Rooms at Concorde Les Berges du Lac are described as large, clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Many guests enjoy the lake views and commend the quality bedding. Despite these positive aspects, there are mentions of aging furnishings and maintenance issues such as high noise levels from air conditioning, broken locks and difficult-to-open doors. While some updates and refurbishments would enhance the guest experience, overall room comfort is still positively recognized.
The hotel excels in cleanliness with attention to detail noted in both rooms and the restaurant. Guests appreciate the clean and calm environment, accompanied by a heated, covered pool. However, there are occasional issues like stray cats on the terrace, intermittent hot water and outdated room features, indicating areas for potential improvement.
The staff at Concorde Les Berges du Lac receive high praise for their exceptional hospitality and customer-oriented service. Guests describe interactions with the staff as kind and welcoming with particular commendation for the helpful manager Salma and the lovely reception staff. The porters, waitstaff and breakfast service team create a super nice reception experience and housekeeping is noted for its friendliness and helpfulness, ensuring guest needs are met. Overall, the staff's commitment to excellent service greatly enhances the guest experience.
In summary, Concorde Les Berges du Lac offers a pleasant stay with an excellent location, hospitable staff and clean, comfortable facilities. While there is room for improvement in certain areas like room maintenance and breakfast variety, the hotel continues to be a top choice for visitors to Tunis.
