The hotel is situated on both sides of the island with access to both east and west side, making it a great location for exploring. Although getting to the hotel may be a bit of a challenge, once there, guests are rewarded with a great beachfront location, three pools and a restaurant and the constant parade of jungle animals, including monitor lizards, two species of monkeys and lots of birds. Sadly, the beach can be overcrowded with longtail boats, but the proximity to the beach is still a highlight of the hotel, making it the perfect place for beach lovers.

Although the beach is public, it felt private since very few people outside the resort used it. Guests can easily dine or have lunch or dinner by the beach and the resort provides a special dining set up on the beachfront during the day. However, some guests complained that there were not enough chairs on the beach and some of the sunbeds were broken. Overall, the location, the room and the beach make Krabi Resort a perfect option for beach lovers.
