Vilnius Grand Resort offers a mixed experience with elements of admirable quality alongside some areas needing improvement. The hotel is described as delightful and maintains a high standard in many respects, such as professional staff and excellent spa services, including massages and a heated bathroom. The beautiful hotel surroundings add to its charm and the clean rooms contribute positively to the overall experience.
However, there are notable drawbacks that suggest the resort struggles to meet its four-star rating consistently. Guests have pointed out issues such as old and tired interiors, the need for renovation and disorganized services leading to long queues. Some rooms lacked expected amenities such as a minibar or kettle, which detracts from the anticipated four-star experience. There were also complaints of delayed check-ins, non-functioning TVs and high additional charges for amenities like coffee.
The resort strives to maintain its four-star status but often falls short with guests noting that some aspects did not feel up to par with the rating, such as the restaurant quality and the overall value for the price. Facilities like the spa and pools are appreciated, yet inconsistent communication between old and new zones and lackluster sauna experiences were mentioned.
In summary, while Vilnius Grand Resort offers some high-quality services and stands in a picturesque setting, it requires significant improvements in its amenities and operational efficiency to truly fulfill the expectations of a four-star hotel.

Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Park Villa has received numerous critiques regarding its four-star rating and facilities. Many guests have expressed that the hotel does not live up to its advertised four-star status with some suggesting it might have met this standard many years ago but no longer does. The bedding and curtains have visible stains and burns from smokers and the carpets appear faded, indicating a lack of recent refurbishment. The breakfast offered is considered poor for a four-star establishment with limited selection and overcooked food.
Facilities such as a sauna and pool, which are often expected in a four-star hotel, are missing and the overall functional facilities are considered inadequate for a hotel of this category. There have been consistent reports of broken fixtures, such as leaking showers, which further detract from the experience. General maintenance seems to be an issue with some areas in urgent need of repair.
Overall, guests feel that Park Villa should re-evaluate its star rating to more accurately reflect the current state of its amenities and services.
