Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Séjours & Affaires Orléans Jeanne D'Arc receives high praise for its location, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Orléans. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood within a 10 to 15-minute walk from the historic city center and key attractions, guests find it ideally situated for convenient exploration. The hotel's proximity to public transportation, the train station and local amenities like grocery stores and restaurants further enhances its appeal.
The breakfast service garners mixed reviews but has notable positives. Many guests appreciate the delicious and well-organized offerings, describing them as generous and valuable. However, some find the options limited and occasionally lacking freshness, particularly if arriving later in the morning. While not included in the stay and slightly pricey for some, the on-site breakfast option is still convenient.
The rooms at Séjours & Affaires Orléans Jeanne D'Arc are generally spacious and functional, featuring clean bathrooms, equipped kitchenettes and comfortable beds. Despite the basic amenities effectively catering to both short and extended stays, some guests note that certain rooms feel outdated and could benefit from renovations. Noise disturbances from busy streets and lack of air conditioning during warm weather are also points of concern.
Cleanliness at the hotel receives mixed feedback. Many guests commend the clean accommodations and efficient cleaning services, particularly highlighting clean bathrooms and common areas. However, there are reports of inconsistencies with some guests noting issues such as dirty windows and greasy kitchenettes upon arrival.
The friendly and professional staff significantly enhance the guest experience. Visitors consistently praise the reception team for their warm welcome, attentiveness and ability to communicate effectively. While some gaps in weekend service are noted, the overall friendly and competent service is a major highlight.
WiFi performance varies with some guests appreciating a fast and reliable connection, while others experience weak connectivity and stability issues during peak times. The bedding is frequently highlighted as very comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep despite occasional remarks about inadequate cleanliness or lack of air conditioning.
The hotel's accessibility features are commendable, providing seamless access for guests with disabilities and ensuring a comfortable stay for those with mobility needs. Its proximity to public transport and central location add to its convenience.
Overall, Séjours & Affaires Orléans Jeanne D'Arc offers a comfortable and practical base for exploring the charming city of Orléans. While there are areas for improvement, particularly regarding room modernization and breakfast variety, the hotel's prime location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and good accessibility ensure a pleasant stay.
