Public transportation options, including a free shuttle to Susukino Station and a bus service to the city center and airport, also bolster its accessibility. The surrounding amenities like restaurants, supermarkets and AEON Mall, along with proximity to sites like Jozankei hot springs and Mount Moiwa Ski Resort, contribute to guest satisfaction.
The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties such as sashimi and seafood, in a spacious venue. While some guests find the breakfast luxurious, others note that certain dishes could be improved and consider it somewhat overpriced. Dinner options are convenient with guests appreciating the on-site izakaya and nearby restaurants. However, the quality and availability of the on-site dining options receive mixed reviews.
Rooms are generally praised for their spaciousness and cleanliness with high ceilings, well-maintained bathrooms and inviting lighting frequently mentioned. The addition of hot springs and public baths further enhances the experience. Nevertheless, occasional issues with mattress softness, dust and temperature control have been noted. The staff at APA Hotel & Resort Sapporo are highlighted as a major asset, frequently described as kind, polite and helpful. Families find the hotel especially accommodating with amenities geared towards children and larger rooms suitable for families or groups. The communal baths, separate bathtub and toilet and the availability of yukatas for children enhance the family-friendly environment. Despite the hotel's distance from central transport hubs, its child-oriented features and overall value make it a popular choice for family stays.
Compliments about the comfortable beds, luxurious feel and practical amenities such as USB charging ports are common, although some guests find the mattresses too soft. The overall value is emphasized by many, highlighting the high-quality service and facilities provided at affordable rates. The efficient public bath and free parking add to the cost-effectiveness of the stay, making it a recommended option for travelers seeking good value.
For business travelers, the hotel offers specific conveniences like the large public bath, efficient check-in/check-out processes and a business-oriented shuttle service. Multilingual support and comprehensive breakfast options are additional advantages, easing the demands of business travel and contributing to a high level of guest satisfaction.
