Universal Hotel Marqués offers a charming beachfront experience with cleanliness held to high standards and a great buffet that caters well to its guests. The breakfast is particularly noted for being nice and adds to the overall satisfaction. The hotel provides good services, which align with what one might expect from a four-star establishment and the service and food are described as fabulous.
However, some aspects do not meet the four-star expectations. While the resort has its beautiful beachfront location as a highlight, several reviews point to issues like outdated rooms, uncomfortable beds and a very poor internet connection. The high price for items and towels is another negative aspect mentioned. These elements led some guests to feel that the hotel should be considered more of a three-star establishment rather than four-star. Despite the positive feedback on service and food, discrepancies in the quality of furnishings and amenities are notable concerns for those expecting four-star standards.

Universal Hotel Romantica stands out as a remarkable establishment, offering exceptional value for money, which many guests believe deserves a higher rating than its current three stars. Located in an idyllic setting with access to charming coves, it serves as a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. The hotel's facilities, services, and attention to detail are often compared to, and even surpass, those of higher-rated four-star hotels.
One of the most significant highlights is the staff's exceptional treatment, which contributes to a very positive guest experience. The buffet service is noted for its quality, alongside the overall cleanliness and strategic location which enhance the stay. Many visitors consider this the best hotel they've experienced in Mallorca, citing its deserved reputation that aligns more closely with a four-star rating.
Despite the hotel’s merits, guests should be aware that additional costs may apply for certain services, which could be a surprise for those anticipating all-inclusive amenities. Nevertheless, the Universal Hotel Romantica remains a top choice for travelers looking for great hospitality, proving that sometimes a three-star establishment can indeed offer four-star experiences.

Aparthotel Isla de Cabrera is an intriguing destination that promises a blend of experiences. While some guests found inconsistencies between the hotel's star rating and certain services, many acknowledge the overall good value offered, especially given the room rates. The facilities stand out as a highlight, with reviews appreciating the spaciousness of the rooms. However, aspects such as the maintenance and the condition of some parts of the hotel, like the lobby area, suggest a need for renovation to fully align with the four-star expectations. The cleanliness meets local standards but does not quite reach the level typically anticipated from a four-star establishment. Overall, while the hotel performs exceptionally in some areas, there are indications that it needs improvements to preserve its four-star status across the board.
