The hotel has a homely feel and is set a small distance away from the main accommodation but not too far away, which guests found to be convenient. The bar meals and breakfast were excellent and separate sitting rooms were good value for money. Despite the hotel being a bit dated, guests found it to be very good value for money overall. Although there were some negative comments about the noise from wedding guests on one occasion, the good reviews outweighed the bad and guests felt that they received good service from the staff.
