Parkhotel Rügen has earned its four-star rating for its commitment to quality and cleanliness, matching the expectations set by such a classification. Guests appreciate the classically luxurious entertainment facilities and note a great price-performance ratio, particularly praising the attentive staff and tasty breakfast. However, some reviews suggest that the breakfast lacks the variety and diversity expected from a four-star establishment and could be improved. While the hotel is generally considered to be highly recommended, some guests felt the need for additional amenities to fully meet the four-star standard. Overall, it's concluded to offer decent value for money, especially during the high season.

The Rugard Thermal Strandhotel has been praised as a beautiful 4-star hotel with a large guest flow. While some guests have noted that the rooms with city views may not be fitting for a 4-star hotel, overall the facilities are well-received. The hotel's carpet in the passage way may be outdated, but it doesn't distract from the hotel's charm. Some guests have pointed out that the beds are outdated and that the bathroom in their particular room is small, but this is not reflective of the entire hotel. The only other negative comment was regarding the attentiveness of the staff - though this was not prevalent throughout all dining times. Overall, the hotel is aesthetically pleasing, clean and constantly filled with guests.

Strandresidenzen Binz has divided opinions when it comes to its four-star rating. Several reviewers felt that the hotel justifiably deserves its four stars, noting a clean and pleasant environment, as well as a luxury vibe comparable to other high-end stays. Some guests appreciated aspects like the beautiful studios and indicated that their experience aligned with what they'd expect from a four-star establishment.
However, there is a significant number of reviews highlighting areas where Strandresidenzen Binz falls short of four-star expectations. Additionally, guests mentioned problems such as overpriced underground parking and massive language difficulties with the staff, negatively affecting the overall service experience. Some reviewers particularly noted that the spa and sanitary facilities are in urgent need of renovation.
A recurring sentiment is that there is significant room for improvement, especially if the hotel wishes to maintain its four-star status. These mixed reviews indicate that while some visitors find value in their stay, others leave feeling that their four-star expectations were unmet.
