SERENA Hotel Aventura Miami, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is lauded for its convenient location near Aventura Mall and Gulfstream Park, making it ideal for those interested in shopping and dining. Despite the surrounding area's ongoing development and construction, the hotel's clean, modern facilities and easy parking make it a comfortable choice for travelers.
The breakfast at the hotel receives mixed feedback. Many guests enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, particularly the coffee and bagels and praised service from staff members like Tatiana. However, issues were raised about the clarity of the breakfast policy, its minimal options and occasional cleanliness and service lapses.
Dinner experiences are more positive with the restaurant and bar on-site praised for their pleasant ambiance and good drinks. The menu, though, could be more varied and some guests noted that food was occasionally overpriced or took too long to arrive. The terrace at the restaurant offers a charming dining setting, although the absence of room service and in-room microwaves was a downside for some.
The rooms at the hotel are frequently highlighted as spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Guests appreciate the modern furnishings, high ceilings and fully equipped kitchenettes. Cleanliness is a strong suit with the rooms and bathrooms consistently well-maintained. The beds are comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. Some minor issues include sporadic room temperature control and occasional service delays at check-in.
Overall, the hotel's cleanliness is highly rated with well-maintained rooms and common areas. While some guests experienced sporadic issues with housekeeping and missed cleanings, the staff generally responded well to cleanliness concerns. The hotel's pleasing aroma and organized environment further enhance the guest experience.
Staff at the hotel receive largely positive remarks with many guests noting the helpful and friendly service from front desk personnel and restaurant staff. Specific staff members such as Tatiana and Peri are often praised for their outstanding service. Despite occasional encounters with unaccommodating or inexperienced staff, the well-managed and attentive team generally contributes to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere.
The free Wi-Fi service at the hotel is appreciated for its speed and efficiency, though a few guests noted occasional inconsistencies. The fitness amenities, including a clean and well-equipped gym and a beautiful outdoor pool, are well-received. The rooftop pool, in particular, is a standout feature, praised for its cleanliness, inviting ambiance and convenient access.
Parking at the hotel receives mixed reviews. While guests appreciate the easy, accessible and well-located parking options, the cost is often seen as expensive and not always clearly communicated. Nevertheless, the parking facilities themselves are functional and convenient.
In summary, SERENA Hotel Aventura Miami offers a modern, comfortable and well-located stay with spacious rooms, commendable cleanliness and a friendly staff. Its amenities, including the rooftop pool and gym, enhance its appeal, making it a reliable choice for travelers visiting the Aventura area.
