The beautiful beach of Delphini is just a short walk away and Kini Beach, though not the loveliest on the island, has plenty of good restaurants and stunning beaches nearby, including Vari, which guests seem to like the best. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep at night and you wake up to stunning sunsets over Kini. It's a great location for exploring the island with easy access to Galissas, Ermoupoli and other destinations by bus. The walk to Kini and its beach takes about 10-15 minutes and is a bit steep, but well worth it for the lovely feel and atmosphere of the place. Overall, Captain's is a great base for a relaxing vacation on the wonderful beaches of Syros.
