The friendly and helpful staff add to the appeal by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and great customer service.
The rooms receive mixed reviews with some guests finding them clean, comfortable and modern—appreciating the functional air conditioning and amenities like the TV. However, there are substantial concerns regarding the overall quality and maintenance of the rooms. Issues such as inconsistent cleanliness, structural problems and outdated facilities have been frequently noted. While some guests have experienced satisfactory stays, others have reported problems ranging from low water pressure, broken fixtures and safety concerns due to the surrounding area.
Cleanliness remains another area of mixed feedback with many guests encountering significant issues. Problems like strong smoke odors, dirty and stained bedding and unclean bathrooms have overshadowed positive aspects like fairly comfortable beds and some renovated amenities. Safety concerns due to the presence of homeless individuals and reported drug activity have also contributed to dissatisfaction, despite the hotel's efforts to mitigate these issues by providing refunds or room changes.
The hotel's staff, however, is consistently praised for their attentiveness and friendliness. Guests commend the employees, particularly those like Rocky, for their professionalism and willingness to assist with any issues. The reception staff often go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, creating a positive impact on the guests' experience.
The WiFi service at the hotel, unfortunately, is a significant downside with many guests finding it slow, intermittent and at times, nearly unusable. Issues such as poor connectivity in rooms and the need to go outside for better signals have been frequently reported, posing a challenge for those needing reliable internet access during their stay.
Bed comfort also garners mixed feedback. While many guests find the beds clean and comfortable, suitable for restful nights, others cite old mattresses causing discomfort and back pain. The location of beds near noisy air conditioning units has also been an inconvenience for some.
