When planning a stay at Motel 6 New Braunfels, potential visitors may find mixed feedback regarding the hotel's pool facilities. Several guests have praised the pool for being clean and inviting and some have highlighted the presence of both a pool and a hot tub. However, the majority of reviews have consistently mentioned the pool's closure, often without prior notice. The pool has been described as closed for extended periods, including during peak summer months and sometimes for unspecified reasons. Additionally, the related hot tub has also been noted as non-operational. These closures have led to disappointments, particularly given that the pool and hot tub are advertised amenities. While the pool’s positive aspects are noted when it’s operational, the lack of availability has left many guests dissatisfied with this aspect of their stay.

Travelodge by Wyndham New Braunfels stands out for its strategic location, which many guests appreciate for its convenience and accessibility. Situated near various dining options and area attractions, it serves as an ideal and quiet base for travelers. This advantageous placement remains a consistent positive highlight of the hotel.
Though the breakfast offering leans towards the basic with a continental variety of cereal and juice, the staff's customer service during this meal is acknowledged even if the selection could be improved for a more substantial morning experience.
The rooms at Travelodge present a mixed experience. Guests commend the spaciousness and often pleasantly surprising interior conditions which exceed exterior expectations. Many reviews highlight the rooms as clean and comfortable, albeit inconsistencies in deep cleaning and occasional odors detract from the overall experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is generally praised, with highlights of clean, quiet, and updated room interiors contrasting outdated online photos. However, isolated issues like cigarette smoke odor and dirty carpets are occasionally mentioned, although they appear to be the exception rather than the norm.
The staff receive broad commendation for their friendliness, politeness, and helpfulness, with the manager specifically acknowledged for addressing guest concerns effectively. While some communication difficulties are noted, the staff remains a prominent positive aspect, often enhancing guests' overall satisfaction and willingness to return.
In sum, Travelodge by Wyndham New Braunfels offers a convenient stay with spacious rooms and commendable staff, despite occasional concerns over cleanliness and breakfast variety.

The AmericInn by Wyndham New Braunfels offers a swimming pool and hot tub as part of its amenities, receiving positive remarks for being a refreshing spot to cool off. However, prospective guests should be aware that the pool area is quite small, with space that comfortably accommodates only a family of four. This could be a consideration for those planning to fully utilize the pool area during their stay. Despite its limited size, guests appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel environment. While some aspects of the service, such as the breakfast staff, could benefit from improvement, the opportunity to enjoy breakfast together is generally seen as a nice feature.
