Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
Alicante Hills features a variety of opinions regarding its swimming pool, generally highlighting positive aspects but also pointing out several areas for improvement. The pool, often described as nice, clean and spacious, is particularly noted for its suitability for children with amenities such as jacuzzi and spa-like jets. Families appreciate the well-maintained and peaceful surroundings and there are mentions of the pool being a pleasurable and ideal spot to relax. Some reviewers were delighted by the convenience of it being open long hours.
However, the pool's availability seems inconsistent with multiple mentions of it being closed or not maintained during guests' stays. While some guests noted the pool area as clean and enjoyable, others reported it being dirty, neglected and in need of better maintenance, including issues such as broken sun loungers and cigarette butts. The water was sometimes described as very cold and there were minor complaints about the lack of surveillance and the untidy surroundings due to animal feces.
In conclusion, while the swimming pool at Alicante Hills is largely seen as a positive feature of the hotel, enhancing the guests' overall experience, its availability and cleanliness can be hit or miss, suggesting a need for more consistent maintenance and clearer communication about its operations.
