GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa presents an experience that, according to guest feedback, frequently falls short of its four-star rating. Many travelers felt that the hotel did not meet their expectations for a four-star establishment, noting that both the level of comfort and the quality of services were lacking. Specifically, the furnishings appeared outdated with several guests pointing out that rooms seemed to hail from the 70s, were small and had few electrical outlets.
The dining experience was a mixed bag; while breakfast was deemed acceptable, the lack of variety in lunch and dinner offerings did not align with four-star standards. Additionally, the hotel charged extra for many amenities, which was considered unusual for a property of this supposed caliber. The price, although better than expected for the bracket, did not justify the perceived inadequacies in service and quality.
On a more positive note, the hotel facilities were highlighted as high-quality and the location in a small town allows for quick access to the center. However, the large size of the hotel often led to a crowded and overwhelming dining room experience.
In essence, despite some redeeming qualities like location and facilities, GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa is frequently perceived as closer to a three-star hotel and even drifting towards a two-star level, highlighting a need for updates and improvements to meet guest expectations for a four-star rating.
