Travellers looking for a historical stay in Bamberg might want to consider the Welcome Hotel Residenzschloss Bamberg. While some reviewers found the buffet lacking, the cleanliness and room size were up to par for a four star hotel. Most guests found their stay agreeable and would even consider returning. Prices match the expected four star standard, but some were disappointed with the value for money. Despite this, the hotel's historic ambiance and city location make it a recommendation for those looking for a city break.
