The property features beautiful outdoor facilities, including a nice pool area and walking trails that lead to a waterfall in a desert canyon. Its quiet and serene location makes it an ideal destination for those looking to get away from the city. The staff are friendly and the bed linens and food come highly recommended. Overall, guests love the resort's convenient, yet secluded location and appreciate its natural environment that seems miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Breakfast

Guests at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort rave about the delicious breakfast offerings, including oatmeal and a Mexican breakfast with tortillas, eggs and beans. They especially enjoy dining on the lovely patio with the exception of weekends when the staff at Canyon Grill can get a bit overwhelmed. While some guests found the cleanliness of the breakfast area lacking and others were disappointed by limited food options, the main complaint seems to be related to COVID-19 limitations, as some guests had to wait until 8am for breakfast and experienced issues with their coffee maker. Despite some negative experiences, most guests seem to have enjoyed their breakfast at the resort.

The views from the pool are amazing and guests enjoyed the fire pits and waterfall. However, some reviewers commented that the pool can be too crowded, noisy or dirty and did not have enough room for everyone. The service at the pool was generally great, though a few guests complained about slow or rude bartenders. Furthermore, there were some limitations concerning Covid-19 regulations, such as the lack of social distancing and the requirement to wear masks in the lobby was not always implemented. Despite all of this, guests still enjoyed their time at the pool and appreciated the staff's efforts to make their stay enjoyable.
