Casa Altamar is a beautifully located boutique hotel on the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Tulum, in a quieter and more peaceful area. The seclusion of the location offers great views from every room, making it an ideal location for a getaway. The hotel also has a private beach, which provides a calm escape from the busy-ness of the downtown areas. Guests recommend renting a car as the distance from Tulum town and the main swimming beaches is quite far. However, the hotel is within walking distance of a beautiful cenote and there are some restaurants nearby. The location of the hotel on Tankah Bay is also remote enough to relax yet not far from lots of activities in the area by foot, car, or just off the beach. Despite its distance from downtown, the location was described as superb and amazing by guests.

Breakfast

Casa Altamar offers guests a continental breakfast with fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, toast with jams and coffee. However, guests can also order additional items from the menu, such as chilaquiles and pancakes.
