The Ascott, a charming property, is a great value for money offering comfortable and clean accommodation. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, some guests felt that it was more like a dated Blackpool B&B. However, others found it to be superb and had everything they needed. While the continental breakfast disappointed a few guests with its poor selection of only cereal and toast, overall, it was considered good value for money.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is known for its beautiful surroundings, making it a good choice for those looking for a decently priced stay. However, guests have mentioned that the hotel is distinctly average and needs a makeover. Despite this, the location is great and the staff are very attentive. Unfortunately, some reviewers have noticed that there is too much unnecessary plastic in the room, which can be a drawback. The Ainscow Hotel presents itself as a beautifully converted building with a visually appealing decor and spacious, airy rooms, often equipped with comfortable kingsize beds and en-suites. Many guests appreciate the good value for money, suitable parking and lovely breakfast offerings. The location also receives praise for its convenience, complemented by good customer service and satisfactory amenities.
However, several reviews suggest that while the hotel is good quality and provides a pleasant experience, it falls short of the typical four-star standards with some comparing it more closely to a three-star establishment. Concerns are raised over the absence of certain facilities, such as air conditioning, which one might expect in a higher-rated property. In some instances, the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel received criticism with some guests feeling that it did not meet the higher expectations set by its four-star classification.
Despite these areas for improvement, The Ainscow Hotel maintains a positive reputation for being a good accommodation choice with a comfortable atmosphere. While it competes well with popular chain hotels like Premier Inn, delivering good quality and value, it seems to lack some of the extra touches and facilities that define a true four-star hotel experience.
