Fountains Hotel by Neighbourgood presents itself as a four-star establishment and is conveniently located, though its overall experience has received mixed reviews. On the positive side, the hotel is noted for its very spacious rooms, a clean and tidy environment and a delightful breakfast experience with commendable seafood options. Guests frequently highlight the friendliness of the staff and excellent service that sometimes reached five-star quality, contributing significantly to a pleasant stay and making it a good value for the price paid.
However, many reviews indicate that the hotel does not consistently live up to its advertised four-star status. Guests expressed dissatisfaction with the building's condition, amenities and overall quality, which they found to be below four-star standards. Communication and customer treatment also fell short of expectations for a four-star hotel. Consequently, some guests felt misled by the hotel's advertisement and left generally disappointed with the service levels and room standards. While the friendly staff enhanced the experience for some, the hotel's amenities and overall execution need significant improvement to meet the four-star criteria it promises.
