Landgoedhotel Villa Vennendal appears to have generated mixed feelings from its guests regarding its four-star rating. While the hotel's website claims a four-star classification, many reviewers feel that the rooms and services do not live up to this standard. Guests repeatedly mentioned that the quality of the rooms, particularly the showers, did not meet their expectations for a four-star establishment. Comments about the rooms being dated and service levels falling short also surfaced frequently. Surprisingly, the breakfast offerings were considered below par, likened more to what one might expect at a three-star hotel. Additionally, the overall quality-price ratio did not satisfy many visitors, indicating a gap between the guests' expectations and their actual experiences. This indicates that while the hotel has potential, there is a general consensus that several aspects need improvement to genuinely align with a four-star rating.

The reviews of Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe show a mixed perception of its four-star rating and facilities. Some guests appreciate the hotel's qualities, describing it as a modern, beautiful four-star establishment that lives up to its luxury accommodations. There is also praise for the breakfast and the staff, which are deemed worthy of the four-star designation.
However, other reviews highlight significant shortcomings. Many guests feel that the property lacks essential four-star amenities and services. Issues such as a closed restaurant on Sundays, cleanliness problems in the rooms and subpar service are commonly mentioned. Some visitors express disappointment, stating that the hotel does not meet typical four-star standards and is not worth its rating.
While the hotel receives accolades from some for being a solid choice, its inconsistency in delivering the four-star experience leads to a divided sentiment among guests.

Landgoed Mennorode offers a pleasant stay in a nice environment, perfect for those seeking a tranquil getaway. The hotel is larger than expected, providing ample space for guests, although its size can make it feel impersonal at times. Despite being rated as four stars, many guests feel it aligns more closely with a three-star experience. The rooms, while adequate, lack some typical amenities expected at this rating level, such as storage space for clothing. Dining at the hotel is satisfactory, though the table service falls short of four-star standards. Breakfast does not always meet the expectations set by its rating, and the comfort levels in the rooms could use some modernization. Nonetheless, the hotel provides a good experience overall, with guests enjoying their stay in the lovely surroundings.
