Obelisco Hoteles, often advertised as a three-star establishment, consistently falls short of these expectations. Many reviewers suggest that the property struggles to meet even one-star standards, highlighting a significant decline since the pandemic. The facilities and services are found lacking with mention of poor quality breakfast offerings, inadequate cleanliness and subpar amenities such as the absence of smart TVs. While the location receives some appreciation for its convenience, it isn't enough to justify the high prices. The overall sentiment is that the hotel does not provide the value or quality promised by a three-star rating.

Imperial Park Hotel is situated in a favorable location, offering easy access to nearby attractions and conveniences. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment, which aligns with the value for money they receive during their stay. The breakfast provided is commendable, adding to the overall positive experience. However, the hotel has old facilities that seem to fall short of expectations, particularly with its advertised four-star rating, which some guests feel is misleading. The air conditioning is noted to be subpar, and the need for renovations is evident throughout the property. While the cost is considered reasonable, the lack of security and outdated infrastructure detracts from what is otherwise a fairly satisfactory stay for those prioritizing location and basic amenities.

Goya Hotel, nestled in the heart of Buenos Aires, is highly regarded for its prime location. Guests laud its proximity to the city center, key landmarks like the obelisk and major streets such as Nove de Julho Avenue. Its closeness to popular pedestrian areas and convenient access to various bus and subway lines enhance its appeal for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel boasts an inviting atmosphere, highlighted by its clean, cozy and well-maintained environment.
While Goya Hotel offers a lovely setting with a terrace and a lounge area, it does lack a complimentary breakfast service. This absence is a notable drawback, prompting guests to seek breakfast alternatives outside the hotel.
The rooms at Goya Hotel offer a comfortable stay with many guests praising their spaciousness, cleanliness and cozy beds. The daily housekeeping and attentive staff further enhance the experience. However, there are areas needing improvement, such as better air quality, modernization and consistency in room conditions. Some guests have encountered noise at night, outdated furniture and rooms without windows or proper air conditioning, which can detract from the overall comfort.
Cleanliness is a standout feature with guests frequently commending the clean rooms and facilities, particularly the bathrooms. Despite a few isolated incidents of dirty sheets or unemptied trash, the hotel's overall standard of cleanliness is considered excellent. The staff receives high praise for their exceptional service and friendliness with the receptionists often highlighted for their attentiveness and politeness.
The beds, however, present mixed feedback. While some guests find the mattresses comfortable, issues such as sagging, size and incidents of bed bugs have been reported. These inconsistencies in bed quality may affect the sleep experience.
In summary, Goya Hotel offers a superbly located, clean and welcoming stay in Buenos Aires with excellent staff service and good cost-benefit value. However, improvements in breakfast service, room modernization and bed quality could further enhance the overall guest experience.

Esmeralda Palace Hotel offers a budget-friendly stay with a good balance of price and quality. Guests appreciate the great value proposition, describing their experiences as calm and pleasant and noting that it feels like a higher-rated hotel. The accommodations are particularly in line with the price, resulting in a satisfactory experience for those looking for economical options.
However, there is a significant discrepancy regarding its three-star rating. Many reviews suggest the hotel falls short of this standard with some guests even comparing it to a two-star establishment. Specifically, criticisms point to the outdated conditions of the hotel and its ongoing construction. Additionally, the breakfast offering was seen as subpar, providing only minimal choices. While the hotel might lack the amenities of a true three-star hotel, it compensates with its competitive pricing, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious travelers.

The hotel stands out for its simplicity and practicality with comfortable beds and good showers enhancing the overall experience. Ideal for short stays, particularly for early arrivals, the hotel meets basic needs well.
However, there are some drawbacks, including a basic breakfast, lack of air conditioning and no garage.
