B&B HOTEL Bologna offers a straightforward, three-star experience that's well-suited for business travelers and those seeking value for money. Guests appreciated the fast check-in and check-out service and praised the friendly and helpful staff, consistently mentioning the cleanliness of the rooms and reception.
Breakfast received positive feedback for its variety, including scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, juices and coffee from a machine. Many highlighted the fair price for the breakfast offered.
Rooms were noted as large and well-equipped, although some guests found them outdated and small, especially for those traveling with pets. Despite this, clean sheets, comfortable beds and good room design were appreciated.
The hotel's location near the highway makes it convenient for travelers. While the facilities such as vending machines and overall service were deemed impeccable, the structure itself along with the bathrooms showed signs of age, described as slightly rusty.

Hotel Maxim has garnered mixed reviews that suggest its facilities and services align with a three-star rating, albeit with significant room for improvement. Guests noted that while the hotel offers classic three-star amenities and decent comfort levels, it often falls short in other areas.
Many visitors found the hotel outdated and in need of general renovation. Despite this, some appreciated its value for money and described the breakfast as abundant and appropriate for its category. The staff received positive mentions for their amazing service, which added a welcoming touch to the otherwise ordinary experience.
However, multiple reviews highlighted concerns regarding cleanliness and the overall condition of the hotel structure, which appeared to contradict its three-star claim. The decor and facilities were described as old-fashioned compared to what is typically expected from a more modern three-star hotel. Guests also pointed out that some simple upgrades could help the hotel maintain its rating more convincingly.
Overall, Hotel Maxim delivers a basic, adequate stay but falls short of what many expect from a three-star establishment. While some aspects like the breakfast and staff performance are commendable, the hotel's dated infrastructure and cleanliness issues suggest it needs significant improvements to truly live up to its three-star status.
