At the Waitakere Resort & Spa, guests have mixed feelings about the outdoor swimming pool. Many appreciate the pool for its refreshing qualities and stunning views, describing it as fantastic, beautiful and lovely, perfect for cooling off. The pool area is often mentioned as an enjoyable aspect of the resort, complemented by the natural surroundings.
However, there are consistent remarks about maintenance issues. Some guests found the pool to be dirty or not well-maintained at times with water quality concerns and the presence of the pool cleaner machine being noted. Accessibility is another point of contention, as the pool is described as difficult to reach and some guests found the journey to it long and uneasy.
The pool's temperature also seems to be a drawback with several reviews noting that it was super cold or freezing, which deterred some visitors from swimming, especially since the pool is unheated. There are suggestions that a heated pool would enhance the experience, particularly during colder days.
Overall, while the pool itself is visually appealing and offers a pleasant environment for those looking to relax, improvements in cleanliness, maintenance and heating would significantly boost guest satisfaction. Longer operating hours, especially in summer, could also enhance the overall experience.

Quest Parnell Serviced Apartments features a well-received swimming facility. The pool stands out for its 20-meter length, making it an attractive option for swimming laps. Guests describe it as fabulous, clean and unique. The heated lap pool is a favorite among kids, adding to its family-friendly appeal. However, some guests noted that the pool can be quite cold. The pool’s area maintains a visually appealing environment, though there are restrictions on the number of people allowed in at a time, which could limit access during peak usage. Unfortunately, there have been instances when the pool was closed for renovations, leading to disappointment among some guests.
