Island Life Cottages enjoys a picturesque location that provides guests with easy access to both the natural beauty of Brackley Beach and the urban attractions of Charlottetown. The setting offers a serene countryside ambiance, ensuring peace and tranquility, while still being conveniently positioned for exploration. The property is notably family-friendly, with amenities such as playground equipment, a pool, and a firepit, along with beach passes to enhance the seaside experience. The staff and ownership are consistently praised for their friendliness and dedication, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Cleanliness at Island Life Cottages receives mixed reviews, as many guests appreciate the clean and comfortably furnished accommodations, including a well-maintained pool. However, there are concerns regarding outdated facilities and a lack of maintenance in certain areas, such as some cottages showing signs of wear and requiring attention.
The pool is a valued feature, offering a refreshing escape and contributing to the family-friendly charm of the property. While the pool is smaller and the grounds suggest some updates are needed, it remains an important aspect of the stay. Bedding at the cottages has been a point of contention, with feedback ranging from reasonably comfortable to descriptions of beds being old and uncomfortable. Addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
Despite some areas needing improvement, Island Life Cottages serves as a lovely base for relaxation and exploration, with a delightful setting and a dedicated team ensuring an inviting stay.
