Grand Fiesta Americana Sumiya Cuernavaca offers a relaxing environment, though it may not be the ideal choice for business travelers. While it is generally considered suitable for business stays, some guests have raised concerns about the reliability of the Wi-Fi, which is crucial for remote work and calls. Issues with the Wi-Fi repeater and signal strength have been noted, making it poor for business usage.
The location also appears to be not ideal for business purposes. Guests have reported slow check-in and check-out processes, which could be inconvenient for those on tight schedules. Additionally, there have been complaints about obtaining proper billing receipts and encountering unprofessional behavior from some staff members in the lobby.
While the minibar and other facilities may serve basic needs, they might not meet the expectations of business travelers requiring more efficient services. The 24/7 service is a plus, but overall, the hotel may benefit from addressing these concerns to better cater to business guests.

Hotel Posada Quinta Las Flores in Cuernavaca enjoys high praise for a variety of its offerings, making it a standout choice for visitors. Its strategic location provides easy access to both the vibrant city center and the peaceful ambience of its beautifully maintained gardens. Proximity to major roads and local attractions makes it convenient for travelers, especially those coming from Mexico City, adding to its appeal as a tranquil retreat.
The culinary offerings at the hotel receive consistent acclaim, particularly the breakfast, which is highlighted for its quality, variety, and the a la carte menu that deviates from typical buffet styles. Guests appreciate the delicious and well-presented meals, with special mentions for the fresh sweet bread and outstanding service from friendly staff. While dinner also impresses with flavorful dishes and excellent service, some note the restaurant's limited hours. Nevertheless, the dining experience remains a memorable aspect of the stay.
Accommodations at the hotel are appreciated for their spaciousness, comfort, and cleanliness. While rooms may appear somewhat dated, they are functional, clean, and comfortable, equipped with basic necessities. Guests often enjoy restful stays thanks to the cozy beds. Minor issues like occasional poor ventilation are noted, but they do not overshadow the positive aspects.
Cleanliness is a defining characteristic of the hotel, with guests admiring both the immaculate rooms and the well-tended grounds filled with lush gardens. The staff's warmth and attentiveness contribute significantly to the overall experience, often going above and beyond to accommodate guest requests and creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel is an excellent choice for families, thanks to its family-friendly environment that includes expansive green spaces and a pleasant pool area. Although the pool's temperature is noted to be colder than expected, its well-maintained condition offers relaxation and enjoyment.
While the complimentary WiFi experiences occasional connectivity issues, these do not heavily detract from the overall positive experience. The hotel provides good value for money, with an emphasis on simplicity, cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere. Despite lacking the luxuries of higher-star hotels, its exceptional service and charming environment more than compensate, making Hotel Posada Quinta Las Flores a top choice for a serene and enjoyable stay.
