Collection O Las Iglesias in Cholula receives high praise for its central, tranquil location that offers easy access to key attractions like the Cholula pyramid, local markets and the main square. The ample parking and proximity to restaurants and shops make it convenient for both daytime explorations and evening outings.
The breakfast service stands out with a delicious and varied buffet, including authentic Mexican dishes, especially appreciated on Sundays. Guests value its affordability and the late morning service, contributing to an enjoyable start to their day. Dinner options, however, are limited as the restaurant closes early in the afternoon, necessitating plans for off-site dining at night.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, frequently noted for their modern furnishings and effective layouts. Despite occasional concerns about the absence of air conditioning, dim lighting and maintenance issues, the overall guest experience remains positive due to friendly, attentive staff, good water pressure in showers and secure parking.
Cleanliness is a highlighted strength with guests consistently impressed by the spotless condition of both rooms and communal areas. The diligent staff further enhance the experience through their excellent service and attention to detail. While isolated incidents of minor cleanliness issues exist, the general sentiment toward the hotel's hygiene is overwhelmingly positive.
The staff at Collection O Las Iglesias is known for their exceptional friendliness and professionalism, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. The warm, attentive service provided by the receptionists, housekeeping and concierge staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, despite occasional inconsistencies in helpfulness and English communication skills among the reception staff.
WiFi service at the hotel receives mixed reviews—some guests find it stable and fast, while others face issues with slow speeds and unreliable connections, particularly in the rooms. This indicates a need for improvement to meet the needs of all guests, especially those requiring dependable internet access for work.
The pool at the hotel offers a mixed experience. While it is appreciated for its size and cleanliness, the water temperature is often criticized as being too cold and the lack of lounge chairs around the pool area might be a drawback for some. Maintenance issues and the occasional presence of debris also detract from the experience.

Families find the hotel particularly accommodating with a family-friendly atmosphere, including a small playground and a garden for children. Spacious family rooms and a responsive staff further enhance the experience, notwithstanding minor noise-related inconveniences.
Feedback on the beds is varied; while many guests enjoy their comfort and cleanliness, others find issues with the firmness of the mattresses and the quality of pillows. Nonetheless, the presence of soft and warm blankets generally contributes to a comfortable stay.
While Collection O Las Iglesias may not meet the criteria for a five-star hotel due to some dated facilities, it offers cleanliness, value and a central location that make it a suitable choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Cholula.
